Clover Chemical Industries (Pty) Ltd (“Clover Chemicals”) is a reputable company which has been registered and in business for the past 37 years in Botswana. The Company was originally formed to manufacture and supply various chemicals used in domestic and industrial applications. However, as business grew the Company has expanded and become an agent for some of the world’s leading cleaning product manufacturers such as Johnson Diversey, Kimberly Clark and Columbus.

Over the years Clover Chemicals has expanded its business into Medical & Laboratory equipment, paper products and IT becoming a leading distributor of medical & laboratory equipment. Clover Chemicals now represents a number of global medical equipment and scientificinstrumentation companies including Philips Medical, Carestream, Thermo Fisher, Shimadzu, Erweka, Eppendorf, and some others. The Medical Division of Clover Chemicals has been the fasting growing division and top revenue generator for the Company.

The Company has been successfully registered as a supplier of all scientific and medical equipment, paper products, agricultural items, pesticides, insecticides, herbicides, fungicides and has acquired the certificate of registration for Economic Diversification Drive (EDD) under the Presidential Directive Cab 11(A)/2010.

The Managing Director, Mr. Mahesh Patel, is a citizen of Botswana. He has immense knowledge and experience in coordinating and liaising with various government entities and private organizations. He is also the master franchise holder for Pick n Pay Botswana, and is the owner of Harvey World Travel and Kalahari Ranches, a property development company. In addition, he is on the Board of a number of financial institutes including Imara Capital and Regent Insurance.

Mr. Stanley Timuhweis a Director of Clover Chemicals, and also the CEO of Harvey World Travel, which has been operating in Botswana for the past 26 years successfully. It is the preferred travel agent of the Embassy of the United States of America in Botswana. In addition, it is currently the General Sales Agent (GSA) for Etihad Airways.

Mr. Ishaan Patel is the Head of Strategy & Corporate Advisory for the Clover Group.Since joining in 2012, he has helped the company expand into new sectors and markets, including a recent investment in Zambia as well as help develop new strategic partnerships in the region.He previously worked as an Investment Banker at Credit Suisse in New York focused on mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, equity offerings and debt financing.
